The Geocentric model of the universe in the Holy Quran
The Geocentric model of the universe in the Holy Quran
By Kacem Rochd
It is really a miracle that we live in a very special place which is
located at the centre of the universe. I am very glad to show you here how the
Hubble law and the cosmic redshift could be interpreted as evidences for the geocentric
model and the rotation of the universe as mentioned in the Holy Quran.
Hubble law:
The empirical Hubble law connecting the velocity to
the radial distance with the Hubble parameter is given by:
V = r x H
One can derive the Hubble velocity from the Newtonian
velocity using a simplest algebra as follows:
V = (GM/r)^(1/2)
= r/r x (GM/r)^(1/2) = r x (GM/r^3)^(1/2) = r x w
The Kepler’s third law states that the angular
velocity w is
expressed in phase space 1/t one
can substitute the angular velocity by the Hubble parameter in the above
equation and derive the Hubble law which is given by:
V = r x w = r x H
It is also argued that the cosmic redshift has to be
interpreted as a gravitational redshift rather than a Doppler effect because
the theoretical and empirical Hubble law follows from the gravitational
redshift equation as follows:
E’(photon) = E(photon) – m x (GM/L)
E’(photon) - E(photon) = m x (GM/L)
m x (delta V)^(2) = m x (GM/L)
(delta V) = (GM/L)^(1/2) = L x (GM/L^3)^(1/2) = L x H
This equation
transforms to the empirical Hubble law if one assumes that the centre of the
universe coincides with the position of the earth which implies that the radial
distance L = r, the radial velocity (delta V) = V, and the angular velocity w =
(GM/r^3)^(1/2), which gives:
v = (GM/r)^(1/2) = r x H
These results altogether support the geocentric model
of a rotating universe rather than geocentric model of expanding universe and
which states that the centre of the universe coincides with the position of the
earth without means that the matter of the universe is gravitating around the
earth.
The geocentric model of the universe is consistent
with the Holy Quran’s description of what means that the moon is in the midst
of the heavens.
Allah tells us in the Holy Quran what means:
1)
“And the heaven We constructed with strength, and
indeed We are its expander” [Quran, chapter 51, verse 47]
2)
“And they urge you to hasten the punishment. But Allah
will never fail in His promise. And indeed, a Day with your Lord is like a
thousand years of those you count” [Quran, chapter 22, verse 47]
3)
“The angels and the Spirit (i.e., Gabriel ) will
ascend to Him during a Day the extent of which is fifty thousand years” [Quran,
chapter 70, verse 4]
4)
“And We did certainly create the heavens and earth and
what is between them in six Days, and there touched Us no weariness” [Quran
chapter 50, verse 38]
5)
“Say, do you indeed disbelieve in He Who created the
earth in two Days and attribute to Him equals? That is the Lord of the words”
[Quran, chapter 41, 9]
6)
“And He completed them as seven heavens within two
Days and inspired (i.e., made known) in each heaven its command. And We adorned
the nearest heaven with lamps (i.e., stars, for beauty) and a protection. That
is the determination of the exalted in Might, the Knowing” [Quran, chapter 41,
verse 12]
7)
“It is He Who created for you all of that which in on
the earth. Then He directed Himeself to the heaven, (His being above all
creation), and made them seven heavens, and He is Knowing of all things”
[Quran, chapter 2, verse 29]
8)
“Do you not consider how Allah Has created seven
heavens in layers. And made the moon therein (in their midst) a (reflected)
light and made the sun a burning lamp?” [Quran, chapter 71, verses 15 - 16]
The agreement between the geocentric model of the universe which is
rotating with the Quran’s description of the position of the earth’s satellite
the moon in the midst of the heavens proves that the Holy Quran is a book from
Allah and the Noble prophet Mohammed (peace be upon Him) is His last messenger.
But, only Allah knows best.
